IKS Flagship Research Platforms

In the process of promoting transformative excellence and relevance, the CIKS has endeavoured to facilitate the development of Pan-African and International Flagship Research Platforms.  The establishment of these new areas of IKS development emanated from CIKS multi-and transdisciplinary collaborations and networks, within and outside South Africa.  The involvement of IKS Postdoctoral and Emerging Researchers is part of building a critical mass of human capital conversant in IKS worldviews (ontologies), ways of knowing (epistemologies), research methodologies and value systems (axiologies).
